Description

This represents an outstanding opportunity for an HR professional to eventually take total control of the HR function within Kakira Sugar Ltd, a flagship of the Madhvani Group of Companies, when incumbent HR Manager retires in due course.

The job holder will report to incumbent HR Manager and will be an essential part of the senior management group. He / she will lead a team of HR personnel in providing the spectrum of HR services to the company, focusing particularly on the development of human potential and the maintenance of good industrial relations.

Candidates should possess relevant qualifications and have broad-based experience with a strong bias towards IR, be seeking increased responsibilities having already gained not less than five years general HR experience in a unionized manufacturing environment with a large workforce. He / she should be able to demonstrate an innovative but purposeful and business-oriented approach to HR issues. Computer skills will be an added advantage.

An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
