Job Description

Tetra Tech is recruiting Business Growth Specialists to operate in major trading centers outside Kampala (Mbale, Mubende, Luwero, and Masindi). Business Growth Specialists (BGS) will assist a broad range of agro-input firms improve their business performance including customer management, marketing & promotions, business/financial management and building retail networks.

Candidates with experience in one or more of the following will be highly competitive:

•    Business start-up, failing and trying again: entrepreneurs who aren’t afraid and can learn quickly

•    Business management, sales and marketing: people who understand how to change people’s behavior and drive performance improvements (experience in ICT, media and telecommunications is highly desired)
Essential Capabilities: Strategic thinking; Creative problem solving; Effective listening, learning, and communicating; Teamwork; and ICT savvy

Candidate CV and motivation letters that communicate clearly how well they satisfy and surpass the above mentioned desired experiences and capabilities will be read first and invited for interviews.

Qualifications:

•    First degree: business degrees preferred

•    4+ years works experience

•    Able to reside outside Kampala
