Huys Link Community Initiative (HUYSLINCI) in partnership with International Labour Organization (ILO) is pleased to announce the Call for Proposals for the Youth-to-Youth (Y2Y) Fund. The Fund is a competitive grant scheme to identify and support youth-led entrepreneurship development projects as a means to create decent employment for youth
Eligibility: The eligible applicants must be youth-led non-governmental and not-for-profit organizations based in Uganda with project ideas that contribute to the development of entrereneurship and business opportunities for young people. Current Y2Y Fund grantees with ILO should not apply for this call.
Type of projects to be funded:
The proposals should include project ideas that contribute to the promotion or development of business opportunities for young men and women as a means to create employment. The winning organizations, through their projects are expected to create opportunities for youth to start or improve their small enterprises or other entrepreneurial initiatives. The proposed project ideas should thus focus on how to empower and enable young people to establish and improve enterprises, whether micro or more growth oriented Projects that support the creation of ‘green business’ and ICT solutions in their approaches to promote and develop entrepreneurship shall be given priority.
