Job: Instrumentation Specialist

Location: Namanve

Purpose of Position
The Instrumentation Specialist is to safely operate the utilities plant, monitor and control utility systems such as boreholes, water supply system, water recovery plant, generator, refrigeration and compressed air system while ensuring that quality, cost and reliability (ATM) are in control as per SABMiller global KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate utilities equipment (operate, maintain, repair) instrumentation equipment at the water plant including gauges, pumps, filters, recorders, and flow meters
Monitor and control the utilities process (Maintain efficient records on operations and activities, prepare reports) Perform autonomous maintenance Work in and with teams
Comply with the recommended safe work procedure and Maintain a safe healthy working environment Apply the manufacturing way principles and practices Apply problem solving and contribute to the team’s decision making.
Requirement:
Ideally the candidate should hold a degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum requirement of a diploma in electrical or mechanical Not less than 1 year experience in the field of instrumentation. Advanced methods, techniques, materials used in installing electrical wiring, control devices, etc Knowledge of preventive maintenance applicable to electrical and instrumentation systems Occupational hazards and standard safety practices Good house keeping Computer literacy-Word, Power point and excel is a must Good communication skills Customer centric disposition. A good team player
