The Aga Khan University in conjunction with the Aga Khan Health Service
in Uganda invites applications for the following positions based in Kampala.
Uganda.
Job Summary: The Patient Services Coordinator will primarily be
responsible for front office operations and financial transactions including
handling cheques and corporate agreements and correspondence.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Offer efficient and effective front office services to all clients;
- Ensure that all internal and external clients visiting the Clinic are attended to promptly; Receiving and recording all cheques:
- Maintain a list of postdated cheques and bank when due;
- Process all patients’ refunds;
- Ensure all the outgoing mails are collected the same day;
- Responsible for File and retrieve documents & type any letters/memos as required
- Process any enquiries that may arise as per stipulated guidelines and Hospital policy.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- All the Patient Services Coordinator candidates must hold a Diploma in Front Office Operations and/ or Customer Service
- A minimum of two or more (2) years' experience in a similar role.
- Working knowledge of Accounting/Financial Management and proficiency in MS Office packages will be an added advantage.
- The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills.
