Job Summary: The Head of HR & Operations will develop, implement, lead and manage the country office human resources and operations functions, providing guidance and support to employees and volunteers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Oversee country and people strategy development
  • Volunteer and staff management and relations
  • Spearhead the Recruitment processes
  • Learning and development
  • Steer the performance management function
  • Oversee staff pay and benefits
  • Responsible for the governance and compliance
  • Responsible for the safety and security of all VSO assets, logistics management, transport management, procurement oversight, IT and facilities management
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant must possess a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related degree
  • A minimum of five years’ experience at a senior management level.
  • Prior experience of working with an International NGO is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of country employment laws is vital
