Background:
The
Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation – Uganda (Baylor-Uganda)
headquartered at Mulago hospital, is a comprehensive HIV/AIDS care and
treatment organization that supports the treatment and care of HIV infected and
affected Children and Adults. Baylor – Uganda has four operational areas;
HIV/AIDS care, treatment and prevention services, maternal child health
services, Health Professional training and Clinical Research.
Role definition:
Review and monitor the implementation of guidelines for providing
laboratory test services in Karamoja sub region in line with current MoH
laboratory professional standards and Baylor Uganda’s mission
Job specifications:
The successful candidate will have: 1. A degree in Biomedical
Laboratory Science or other laboratory related course with 3 years of
laboratory work experience. Post graduate diploma in managerial aspects
/masters in a laboratory related course and 2 years experience at a supervisory
role will be an added advantage. 2. The candidate must be 25-30 years. 3. Have
