Job: Social work – 1 position (Karamoja sub region)

Role definition: Review and monitor the implementation of guidelines for providing community home based care services for comprehensive HIV/AIDS services in Baylor Uganda supported health facilities and communities in line with the project Objectives of HIV/AIDS.
Job specifications:
The job holder should have;
(1) A Bachelor’s (honors) degree in Adult & Community education or Social Work and Social Administration or Community Psychology or Developmental Studies
(2) at least 3 years experience in implementing HIV/ AIDs Home Based Care Programs; with a reputable international NGO, and direct experience with government and donor representatives
(3) have Key personal competences in Team and communication skills, networking and partnership skills. Must be dynamic, Persuasive &convincing, self- motivated and able to demonstrate high initiative.
(4) Must have riding skills with Permit Class A and able to speak the language of the respective districts in Karamoja.
