legal, and technical education, particularly in Eastern Europe, Asia, Latin
America and Sub- Saharan African Countries. We has collaborated with charities,
international donors including DFID,EU,NORAD,USAID,DANIDA IMF, WORLD BANK
,Universities, and Individuals & Major International Companies to raise
fund to implement project aiming at poverty eradication, democracy & women
empowerment.

special focus on working alongside poor women because, equipped with the proper
resources, women have the power to help whole families and entire communities

Job Summary: The Chief Accountant will primarily be responsible for sound financial management and planning of the fund’s operations in the Horn of Africa. The position requires a person who is dedicated to accuracy of details while at the same time able to see tasks from a more overall perspective and one who is able to manage a large number of different donors in a busy working environment.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting/management/business administration;
- Be a Chartered Accountant certification or equivalent relevant education,
- At least three years’ professional experience, preferably in an international NGO,
- Possess professional financial management background,
- Proven IT financial skills, knowledge of Navision an advantage,
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills and excellent APS ,
- Possess the ability to work in a multi-cultural team,
- Proven ability to manage large and varied workloads, and
- Ability to handle stress and long work periods
- Highly pro-active, stable and robust character and a good team-player.
