Salary: Monthly salary USD 2640 to 2740 based on skill and experience.

Drawing on Lady Thatcher's worldwide standing and expertise, we raised funds and helped to finance projects promoting Business enterprise, legal, and technical education, particularly in Eastern Europe, Asia, Latin America and Sub- Saharan African Countries. We has collaborated with charities, international donors including DFID,EU,NORAD,USAID,DANIDA IMF, WORLD BANK ,Universities, and Individuals & Major International Companies to raise fund to implement project aiming at poverty eradication, democracy & women empowerment.
We place special focus on working alongside poor women because, equipped with the proper resources, women have the power to help whole families and entire communities escape poverty. Job Summary: The Chief Accountant will primarily be responsible for sound financial management and planning of the fund’s operations in the Horn of Africa. The position requires a person who is dedicated to accuracy of details while at the same time able to see tasks from a more overall perspective and one who is able to manage a large number of different donors in a busy working environment.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting/management/business administration;
  • Be a Chartered Accountant certification or equivalent relevant education,
  • At least three years’ professional experience, preferably in an international NGO,
  • Possess professional financial management background,
  • Proven IT financial skills, knowledge of Navision an advantage,
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills and excellent APS ,
  • Possess the ability to work in a multi-cultural team,
  • Proven ability to manage large and varied workloads, and
  • Ability to handle stress and long work periods
  • Highly pro-active, stable and robust character and a good team-player.
